Alex Borg has revealed plans for a brand new expo centre to be built in Marsa, aimed at giving Malta a modern space capable of hosting large-scale events, expos and conferences, while continuing to grow the country’s creative economy sector.
The proposal forms part of a €350 million investment in PORT, a Cultural District in Marsa.
According to PN, this economic niche could generate around €110 million annually, creating a high-value economy with “more money in people’s pockets and less pressure on families.”
