If Maltese Villages Were People: What Their Personalities Would Be Like
Local

Ever wondered what your village would be like if it turned into a person? We did – and let’s just say Malta would be full of characters! Here’s what some of your favourite towns would be like if they walked, talked and had WhatsApp.

1. Mosta – The Loud Food Lover

Always brings pastizzi to school and talks a bit too much in class. Knows all the gossip and all the best bakeries.

2. Mdina – The Quiet One Who’s Always Watching

Hardly says a word, wears old clothes, and somehow still looks super cool. Definitely top of the history class.

3. Qormi – The Bread Boss

Smells like fresh hobż even on a Monday. Always sharing snacks and proud of it!

4. Sliema – The Fashion Star

Wears sunglasses even when it is cloudy. Loves coffee, shopping and sea selfies.

5. Żejtun – The Friendly Farmer

Wakes up early, hands you a bag of tomatoes for no reason, and always smiles.

6. Valletta – The Posh One With Old Stories

Speaks fancy, walks fast, and has about 100 years of cool things to say.

7. Marsaxlokk – The Chill Fisher

Goes fishing, eats fish, talks about fish. So calm, nothing ever bothers them.

8. Birkirkara – The Busy Bee

Always running around, helping everyone and somehow related to half the island.

9. Attard – The Garden Lover

Always smells like flowers and talks about plants. Probably has a pet rabbit named Fluffy and a lemon tree in the yard.

10. St. Paul’s Bay – The Tourist Magnet

Knows every language, takes selfies with tourists, and always knows where the beach party is.

11. Madliena – The Fancy One Who Never Brags

Lives in a big house, drives a quiet electric car, and eats avocado toast for breakfast.

12. Żurrieq – The Daredevil

Loves speedboats, loud festas, and cliff diving. Not afraid of heights or fireworks.

So… which village are you? Or better yet, which one is your nanna?
