Iconic Maltese Director Charles Stround’s Funeral Takes Place

The Mosta Sanctuary Basilica of Santa Marija this morning hosted the final farewell to iconic Maltese director Charles Stroud, who passed away on the eve of Santa Marija at the age of 75.
The funeral mass, led by Fr. Brendan Gatt, was attended by prominent figures including Nationalist Party leader Bernard Grech and his wife, alongside other members of the Nationalist party’s leadership and officials.
Stroud had played a massive role in the establishment of the Nationalist Party’s media wing, including NET TV.
In addition, many who worked with him in broadcasting and theatre, as well as family members and friends, joined the service to honour his memory.
