“I Was Reborn”: Merit Toni Bezzina Highlights Major Health Milestone

In a social media post, architect and PN MP Toni Bezzina shared a before-and-after photo of his weight loss journey, saying that he ‘was reborn.’
Bezzina had opened up about this weight challenges, saying that he faced serious health risks if he had not taken the step to undergo gastric bypass.
‘From 165kg I dropped to 90kg. Have courage: where there’s a will there is hope’, he wrote, saying that with the help of God, his family and many friends, he had succeeded.
Bezzina had told Times of Malta that he was risking a heart attack or a stroke, or possibly even needing the use of a wheelchair.
