Hot & Sunny Weekend Ahead As Malta Sees Temperatures Hit 33°C

Malta and Gozo are set for a bright and mostly sunny weekend, with hot temperatures, warm seas and no rain in sight.
From Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July, sunshine will dominate across the islands as temperatures climb to 33°C, with the "feels like" temperature reaching around 36°C due to the humidity.
Winds are expected to remain light to light-moderate, starting from an East-Southeasterly direction before gradually veering to the West-Southwest as the weekend progresses.
There is no rain forecast, making it the perfect weekend for beach trips, outdoor dining and summer activities.
Night-time temperatures will remain warm at around 24°C, offering little relief from the daytime heat.
The forecast is slightly warmer than average for this time of year, with the typical maximum temperature sitting at 31.7°C and the average minimum at 22.1°C.
Meanwhile, the sea temperature has reached 27°C, around 2°C warmer than expected for mid-July and more typical of conditions usually experienced in August.
Overall, expect a hot, humid and mostly sunny weekend, with ideal conditions for making the most of Malta's coastline. Just remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen and avoid prolonged exposure to the midday sun.
