Taking to social media, Parliamentary Secretary for Animal Rights Alicia Bugeja Said announced that starting today until the end of August, horses will not be carrying passengers on carriages during peak heat hours.
The carriages will not be operating between 1300hrs and 1600hrs, so that the wellbeing of horses can be ensured.
