Historic Touchdown As First Ever Delta Flight From New York Lands In Malta

A historic touchdown has just occurred at Malta International Airport, with the first ever Delta flight from New York landing in Malta.
When the flight was a few minutes away from touchdown, former minister of foreign affairs and tourism, Ian Borg, remarked that one of his main objectives during his year and few months in charge of tourism was to open the American market.
Borg thanked the MTA and MIA for making this historic moment possible, a landing which marks the launch of a new direct connection between Malta and the United States.
