Here's What To Do If You Encounter A Frightened Lost Pet Following Yesterday's Explosion, According To MSPCA

Following yesterday’s explosion, many frightened pets ran away from their homes, with local shelter MSPCA asking the Maltese public to keep a vigilant eye.
As the area quiets down, explained the shelter, “some frightened pets may begin to emerge from hiding or attempt to find their way home.”
MSPCA urged the public to “remain vigilant and keep an eye out for any stray or unfamiliar animals,” but to not chase or corner the animal.
If you spot a lost pet, try and snap a picture, take note of the location and time of the sighting, and report the findings.
MSPCA stated that frightened pets may be found in garages, gardens, fields, or hiding under vehicles.
“Every sighting could make a difference and help reunite a beloved pet with its family. Thank you for your assistance and compassion,” concluded the shelter.
