Here's How Fish Fridays Will Work

Parliamentary Secretary Alicia Bugeja Said released an explainer video about the Budget 2026 initiative Fish Fridays and how it will work.

Bugeja Said revealed that the initiative is motivated by statistics that show that there is a lack of nutrition in Malta, especially when it comes to local dishes.

The Fish Fridays initiative will see a different school being visited each week, where students can, with their parents, who will be invited along, to taste fish that is expertly served.

The events will also see other educational material disseminated, including recipe books, all aiming to raise awareness about nutrition and a varied diet or children.
