The fifth edition of Mvintage Women of the Year will celebrate women whose dedication, personal journeys and actions are creating a positive impact on society.
Taking place on Monday, 26 October 2026, at Villa Mdina, the initiative highlights the stories of women working across different areas, including animal welfare, health awareness, inclusion, community support and personal resilience.
This year's shortlisted nominees include Althea Galea, an animal welfare activist dedicated to raising awareness about compassion and responsibility towards animals.
Through her advocacy, she encourages people to take a more active role in protecting animals and improving their wellbeing.

Mallison Brincat, founder of Gluten Free Coeliacs Malta, is recognised for creating a supportive community for people living with coeliac disease and their families.
Her work provides a space where individuals can share experiences, advice and practical information about managing a gluten-free lifestyle.

Singer Gloriana Arpa Belli has been nominated for her journey of resilience and perseverance. Through her experiences and public presence, she encourages women facing challenges to continue moving forward with courage and self-belief.

Klara Mallia is being recognised for using her personal experience with breast cancer to raise awareness about women's health and the importance of seeking medical advice and regular checks.

Graziella Bartolo Pizzuto, founder of Up and up with Faith, shares her family journey as the mother of a daughter with Down syndrome. Through her online platform, she works to challenge misconceptions, promote inclusion and highlight the individuality and potential of every child.

Mvintage Women of the Year aims not only to celebrate achievements, but also to give women and their causes a wider platform. By sharing their stories, the initiative seeks to inspire others, encourage conversations and create opportunities for greater support and collaboration.
