Rabat (Gozo) was buzzing with Carnival fever as the iconic festivities in the sister island’s capital once again delivered a spectacular showcase of colour, creativity, and artistic flair. Stunning costumes lit up the streets, wowing not only Carnival enthusiasts but also Maltese and Gozitans who gathered to admire the joyful celebrations.

Several schools and communities from across Gozo took part in the festivities, organising their own performances and crafting imaginative costumes that added to the vibrant atmosphere. Adults and children alike embraced the spirit of Carnival, transforming Rabat into a lively celebration of talent and tradition.

A special highlight of the event was a costume competition featuring five young Carnival lovers, Azalea Mamo, Ella Pace, Noha Pace, Hazel Saliba, and Grace Sultana, with Hazel Saliba coming out as the winner.
