Hedgehog Returned To Nature After Fall Rescue

Machu Picchu, a local hedgehog rescued from a garage after a fall off a high wall, was returned to nature earlier this December.
After 14 days of warmth and care at the Xrobb l-Għaġin Nature Park and Wildlife Rehab Centre, this little guy was ready for his next adventure.
He was released in a field where there are few cars, no chemicals and plenty of food to forage for.
It is illegal to keep animals like hedgehogs as pets, and anyone who finds such fauna injured are urged to contact the wildlife team at 99999505.
