Health Minister Meets Mater Dei’s New Nurses & Midwives

Health Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg met with the newly graduated nurses and midwives as they prepare to start their new work at Mater Dei Hospital.
Borg had the chance to speak to the them and wish them luck on their new journey.
He described the career as different from others, and that the continuous investment aims at making their jobs easier to carry out.
Borg said that the nurses and midwives themselves are the best investment the country can make, saying that their dedication will make a difference in every person they help and every baby welcomed into the world.
