Ħamrun Has Had The Most Plastic Bottles Collected Through New BCRS Scheme

As part of the BCRS collection scheme, a new of door-to-door collection service was implemented to accommodatethe elderly or anyone with a disability.
Anyone over 60 years of age or who holds a disability card is eligible to apply.
Following a parliamentary question, it was divulged that a total of 275,027 bottles have been collected so far through the door-to-door service.
24,409 bottles were collected in Ħamrun, making it the most popular location for this service. On the contrary, 716 bottle swere collected in Imġarr, making it the least.
