It's only the beginning of November, but is it already time to get into the Christmas spirit?

Halloween is officially behind us, and for some people, that can only mean one thing… CHRISTMAS!

The pumpkins are being packed away, spooky decorations are coming down, and Christmas trees might already be making their way into Maltese living rooms.

But here's the big question: Is 1st November too early to start decorating for Christmas?

For some, the moment Halloween ends, it's officially Christmas season. Out come the fairy lights, Mariah Carey starts playing, and the countdown to 25th December begins.

Others, however, believe November is simply too early. With almost two months still to go, they argue that putting up decorations now takes away some of the excitement of Christmas.

And let's be honest, in Malta, where November can still bring sunshine and relatively warm temperatures, decorating a Christmas tree while wearing shorts isn't exactly unusual!

Meanwhile, shops are already getting into the festive spirit, with Christmas decorations, chocolates and gifts appearing on shelves.
