H&M To Open Its First Store In Malta On 14th November 2026!

Global fashion brand H&M has announced that it will open its first store in Malta on 14 November 2026, bringing its fashion and lifestyle offering to local customers for the first time.

The new store will be located at Regina, Tower Road, Sliema, one of Malta’s main shopping destinations, and will feature H&M’s latest retail concept with collections spanning women’s, men’s and kids’ fashion, activewear and home products.

The Malta store will be operated by Hudson Holdings, H&M’s franchise partner since 2025. The Maltese retail group currently operates H&M stores in Morocco and will support the brand’s expansion into the local market through its retail experience and knowledge of consumer preferences.

Customers visiting the new Sliema store will be able to shop the latest trends, everyday wardrobe essentials, seasonal collections, H&M Move sportswear and H&M Home products.

Hudson Holdings CEO Chris Muscat described the arrival of H&M in Malta as a major milestone for both the company and the local retail sector, saying that the brand has been highly anticipated by Maltese consumers for years.

Hudson’s Group Retail Business Manager for H&M, Lia Tsampounieraki, said the company was proud to introduce H&M to Malta and offer customers fashion and quality at accessible prices.

The opening is expected to create new employment opportunities while further strengthening Malta’s retail sector. To celebrate the launch, H&M and Hudson will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony, with live DJ entertainment and special gifts for early shoppers. The first 100 people in the queue will receive gift cards worth up to €500 and complimentary refreshments.
