Greta Thunberg Warns Israel May Attack Gaza Freedom Flotilla

In a reel posted to her Instagram, Greta Thumberg shared how the group currently aboard the Gaza Humanitarian Aid Flotilla have received intel that Israel may launch “violent and escalated” attacks upon the boat.
“Several governments have reached out to citizents on board the global flotilla warning them about an immanent Israeli attack, one that could be bigger and potentially deadlier than anything we’ve seen so far against our peaceful humanitarian mission completely abiding by international law,” stated Thumberg.
Both in the caption and in her video, she emphasised how Israel has been conducting “smear campaigns,” framing those on board as “terrorists.”
Thumberg reminded everyone that this mission is about Gaza, and how we should not get distracted from the cause. She called “on all governments everywhere to fulfil their legal obligation in ending their complicity in this genocide, and to ensure safe passages for the flotilla with more than 500 participants from 45 countries.”
