Graffiti Artist Twitch Completes Nature Xemxija Mural

Local graffiti artist Twitch recently completed a mural in Xemxija, depicting ‘nature breaking through the concrete slabs into an explosion of colours.’

The mural features a number of elements from the Xemxija area, including 3 migratory birds which have been spotted at the nature reserve.

These are the Roller (Farruġ), Bee Eater (Qerd In-Naħal) and the Grey Heron (Russett Griż). The Roman goddess of honey and the Roman beehive with Maltese bees flying around were also included.

‘The roller is wearing sunglasses since he’s chilling in Xemxija which translates to sunny in Maltese’, he wrote.
