Taking to social media, local Gozitan Geo DeBono issued a post thanking Gozo Channel workers for still braving the intense weather and transporting those needing to cross the channel.
‘We complain when they’re 5 minutes late. We sigh when the app refreshes too slowly. We panic when the queue looks long’, wrote DeBono.
‘But when the sea turns into THIS’, he said, attaching an AI rendition of the turbulent waters, ‘and they still show up. They still cross. They still get us home.
