Gozo Channel Ferry Services Operating Again

The Gozo Channel services have once again kickstarted operations following a recent bout of bad weather.
Storm Harry hit the Maltese islands on Tuesday, 20th of January 2026. It brought with it strong winds reaching up to 100km/h (Force 10), which caused rough seas, along with heavy rainfall.
The last ferry to depart before the storm hit was on Monday the 19th of January at around 6pm, before Gozo Channel Operations Ltd informed the public that services will be stopping due to the severe weather.
Services were briefly resumed yesterday at 8 in the morning, but two hours later, they were once again halted.
Last night, Gozo Channel announced that trips will once again be available but to still expect delays as the weather has not cleared up.
So far, the ferry is still operating. Updates will be issues accordingly, if necessary.
