Global Tourism Leaders Meet In Malta For World Travel & Tourism Council

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Ian Borg welcomed global tourism leaders to Valletta this morning as the Manoel Theatre hosted the World Travel & Tourism Council Global Leaders Dialogue.
The event brought together key figures from the international tourism industry for discussions centred around Malta’s tourism sector and the opportunities ahead for the islands.
In a social media post, Borg described the gathering as both a “personal ambition” and a “proud moment for Malta”, highlighting the opportunity to showcase the country, its people and what the islands have to offer.
The discussions also focused on turning international connections into investment, quality employment and long-term benefits for local communities, providing another opportunity for Malta to strengthen its position on the international tourism stage.
