Gemma Joe’s To Donate Every Cent To Puttinu Cares At Reopening

Gemma Joe’s John-Paula and Steve have announced the return of their beloved diner will be making a comeback next Wednesday 12th and donating everything to Puttinu Cares.
‘On this opening night, every single euro we receive will be donated to Puttinu Cares’, they wrote. ‘Not just profits. Not what’s left over. Every cent of every sale.’
‘After being closed for the past four months while rebuilding and preparing Gemma Joe’s for its next chapter, we wanted our first night back to stand for something bigger than ourselves.’
John-Paul recounted how he spent three years of his teenage years under the care of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Sydney, Australia.
‘The doctors, nurses and staff there changed my life in ways I’ll never forget. Ever since then, it’s been on my heart that if we were ever in a position to do so, we’d give back to children’s hospitals and the organisations that stand beside families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.’
‘We’re inviting everyone to come and enjoy a dessert while helping support an incredible cause. Whether it’s handmade ice cream, thick shakes, croffles, Hawaiian shaved ice, our Ice Cream Space Burger, sundaes, affogatos or a coffee, every purchase on the night will directly support the amazing work Puttinu Cares does for Maltese families.’
We can’t wait to see everyone on Wednesday, 12th August, from 7:00pm until 11:00pm. You will find them opposite the Sliema Ferry terminal, just outside the large car park at 7pm.
