From Malta to the World: SiGMA Summit Set to Open in Rome

A new chapter in global events is being written and it all started in Malta.
What began as a Maltese success story has now evolved into one of the world’s leading international exhibitions. SiGMA, founded and owned by Maltese entrepreneur Eman Pulis, is taking its global footprint to new heights with the launch of SiGMA Central Europe 2025 3-day conference, set to take place in Rome, Italy, this week from the 3rd to the 6th of November.
The event marks a significant milestone not just for SiGMA, but also for Malta’s reputation as a global hub for innovation, networking, and large-scale event organization.
Malta Daily is informed that a large number of Maltese professionals, suppliers, and event staff were involved in the setup; from logistics and design to production and hospitality. In fact, even the coffee machines were flown in from Malta, along with several other on-site essentials, ensuring that the event retains its Maltese touch despite being hosted abroad.
Adding to the strong Maltese presence, the event will be officially opened by Roberta Metsola, the President of the European Parliament and a proud Maltese representative at the helm of Europe’s top institution. The summit will also feature addresses by Malta’s Minister for the Economy, Enterprise, and Strategic Projects, Silvio Schembri, as well as Opposition Leader Alex Borg, reflecting Malta’s continued influence on the global stage, and at the SiGMA event itself.
With 75,000 sqm already sold out and limited space remaining, SiGMA Central Europe is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated international events of 2025.
The Fiera Roma, one of Europe’s largest exhibition venues, will host over 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors and welcome 30,000 delegates from around the world.
Across four conference stages, more than 550 expert speakers will share insights on innovation, regulation, and emerging trends across the gaming, tech, and investment sectors.
The event will also feature two prestigious awards ceremonies, a charity auction, two Startup Pitch competitions, and a series of high-level networking events, including tournaments, dinners, and sporting challenges.
Beyond the exhibition floor, delegates can enjoy VIP lounges, networking zones, and chill-out areas, all designed to create the perfect environment for collaboration and deal-making.
