The countdown is on for Malta Daily’s Big Picnic Party, returning to the National Park in Ta’ Qali this Saturday, 10th October as part of this year’s NITKELLEM Festival.

Whether you are looking for a fun family outing, a chance to relax with friends or an active start to the weekend, there will be something for everyone throughout the day.

Children can enjoy a dedicated play zone featuring bouncy castles, giant games, table soccer, arcade basketball, face painting, balloon modelling, trampoline fun, stilt walkers and plenty more activities designed to keep them smiling.

The day begins with a series of wellbeing activities, including 5K and 10K runs organised with Sunday Run Club, yoga with Sasha Vella, Pilates with Soma Studios and a breathwork session led by Neil Agius.

From midday onwards, the park transforms into the Big Picnic Party, with live music, food and drink stalls, open green spaces and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for picnics, dancing or simply spending quality time together.

Organised as part of NITKELLEM Festival, led by Lydia Abela together with the Government of Malta, the event celebrates wellbeing, community and connection.

Bring your picnic blanket, gather your favourite people and join us this Saturday at the National Park in Ta’ Qali.
