Francesca Mercieca Crowned Miss Universe Malta 2026

St Paul’s Bay’s Francesca Mercieca has been crowned the new Miss Universe Malta 2026.
She will now represent Malta at the 75th Miss Universe, the Diamond Anniversary edition of the competition, set to take place this November in Puerto Rico.
‘A beauty and skincare specialist and the proud owner of her own business, Francesca has built a career dedicated to helping others feel confident in their own skin. She has also been modelling since the age of 14, using fashion as a way to express her creativity, confidence, and individuality.’
Mercieca also met with Miss Universe Fatima Bosch, who won the edition in 2025.
