Fr Raymond Bonnici Concludes 34 Years of Service as Malta Police Chaplain

Fr Raymond Bonnici has concluded 34 years of dedicated service with the Malta Police Force, marking the end of a long career as Police Chaplain.
To mark his final day of service, Fr Ray celebrated his last Mass as Police Chaplain at a packed Vilhena Hall at Police Headquarters. The strong turnout reflected the respect and affection he has earned among generations of police officers and staff throughout his years of service.
During his time with the Force, Fr Ray was a constant source of spiritual guidance, support and compassion for police officers, civilian employees and their families.
His role extended beyond that of a traditional chaplain, with the Malta Police Force describing his contribution as one that will be remembered with “deep gratitude and affection”.
The Force thanked Fr Ray for his years of commitment and service, highlighting the lasting impact he had on the people he supported throughout his 34 years.
His final Mass brought together members of the Police Force to recognise his contribution and wish him well as he begins the next chapter of his life.
The Malta Police Force expressed its gratitude to Fr Ray for “everything” he had done during his decades of service, while extending its best wishes for his future.
