Four Men & One Woman Arrested After Drug Hub Bust

Five foreigners were arrested by police after ongoing surveillance on a Mankato residence in relation to alleged drug trafficking and possession.

From investigations that took place it was revealed that the residence was being used for criminal activities related to drugs.

Suspicious movements at odd hours were noted during the day, with individuals cultivated various plants suspected to be cannabis.

On Tuesday, the police conducted an operation in the residence, leading to the arrest of five individuals: three men from Romania, two of them aged 38 and another 39, a Lebanese man aged 36 years old and an Italian woman aged 30 years old.

During the search, a substantial amount of drugs were found, including MDMA, ecstasy, LSD, cocaine and cannabis. Money and electronic equipment were also confiscated.

An inquiry has been opened as police continue investigations. They are expected to be arraigned in court at 1200hrs today.
