Four Countries Pull Out Of Eurovision Over Israel's Participation

Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, and Slovenia are pulling out of Eurovision 2026 over Israel’s participation.
Public broadcasters from these countries boycotted the competition after the general assembly of the European Broadcasting Union met to discuss whether Israel should be allowed to participate in the face of the conflict in Gaza. The EBU did not ban Israel.
The EBU did not ban Israel from the competition the same way they banned Russia back in 2022 for its invasion in Israel.
