Local
Four Romanian nationals have been arrested following a police operation targeting an alleged pickpocketing ring in Valletta.
Home Affairs and Security Minister Glenn Bedingfield announced the arrests in a social media post, saying the police acted swiftly to dismantle the suspected criminal operation.
The investigation began on Monday after the first reports of pickpocketing were received. Officers from the Valletta Police and the Criminal Investigation Department worked together to identify the suspects, who were arrested by Thursday.
