Food On The Edge Brings Global Food Voices To Malta For 1st Time

Food on the Edge, the internationally recognised food symposium, will arrive in Malta for the first time on 19 and 20 October 2026, bringing together chefs, producers, hospitality professionals, students and food enthusiasts at Fort St Elmo in Valletta.
The two-day event will explore the future of food and hospitality through talks, panel discussions, masterclasses and conversations featuring international and local voices from across the industry.

Among the speakers taking part are internationally recognised chefs and food thinkers including Simon Rogan MBE, Sandor Ellix Katz, Sally Abé, Nicolai Nørregaard, Rebecca Mackenzie, Fabrizia Lanza and Sasu Laukkonen. The programme will also feature Maltese and Malta-connected speakers including Andrew Borg, Clint Grech, Jonathan Brincat, Keith Abela, James Christie, Letizia Vella and Victor Borg.
This year’s theme, Inspiration, will focus on different perspectives and experiences shaping the way people cook, eat and approach the food industry. The event will also highlight Malta’s own culinary culture, with local chefs, producers and hospitality professionals joining international participants.
Food on the Edge Malta is also open to students and those looking to enter the sector, with dedicated student tickets available alongside group rates for restaurants, hotels, culinary teams and businesses.

Tickets are currently available, with a two-day general pass priced at €200, a one-day pass at €100, student passes at €150 for two days and €75 for one day, and group tickets available at €100 per person for groups of 10 or more.
Taking place at Fort St Elmo, Valletta, the event offers an opportunity to connect with global food leaders and explore new ideas shaping the future of the industry.
