FM Theatre Productions Launches Search For Sanremo Junior Malta 2026

FM Theatre Productions proudly presents the Malta selection for the international Sanremo Junior competition, giving singers aged 6 to 15 the chance to represent Malta in Sanremo, Italy.

FM Theatre Productions has announced the launch of Sanremo Junior Malta 2026, opening applications for young singers hoping to earn the opportunity to represent Malta on an international stage.

Open to singers aged 6 to 15, the local competition will see participants perform live in front of an audience and a panel of judges, as Malta searches for the young artist who will fly the Maltese flag at the Sanremo Junior World Finals in Italy.

Following the initial selection process, 50 participants will progress to the semi-finals, with 25 singers then advancing to the Malta Final in January. At the final, the judges will select the Sanremo Junior 2026 Malta representative.

The winner will travel to Sanremo for the prestigious World Finals, which bring together young singers selected through national competitions around the world. Held in the Italian city synonymous with music, the international final takes place at the celebrated Ariston Theatre, one of Italy’s best-known entertainment venues. Finalists have the extraordinary opportunity to perform live on its stage accompanied by a Grand Orchestra of 32 musicians.

Presented locally by FM Theatre Productions, Sanremo Junior Malta aims to give young performers the experience of competing and performing in a professional environment, while offering one singer the opportunity to take their talent from Malta to an international audience.

Applications for Sanremo Junior Malta 2026 are now open to singers aged 6–15, with the deadline set for 15 October.
