Malta is set to experience its first real hint of summer for 2026 in the coming days, with predominantly sunny skies forecast throughout the week.

The best of the weather is expected at the start of the week. Monday and Tuesday will both bring uninterrupted sunshine, with temperatures feeling like 18°C on Monday and rising slightly to 19°C on Tuesday.

Warm conditions will persist on Wednesday, with temperatures again hovering around 19°C. Although cloud cover is expected to increase slightly, the day will still be largely sunny.

Cloudier skies are forecast to move in by Thursday and Friday, accompanied by a slight dip in temperatures. Thursday is expected to feel like 16°C, while Friday will see temperatures feeling closer to 17°C.

Looking ahead to the weekend, conditions are set to improve once again. Mainly sunny weather will return, with temperatures remaining warm enough to make for pleasant days outdoors.
