Embryo Protection Authority (EPA) has signed its first-ever collective agreement with UHM Voice of the Workers, marking a significant milestone for the Authority and its employees. Present for the signing ceremony was Minister for Health and Active Ageing, Hon. Jo Etienne Abela.

Through this agreement, EPA employees will benefit from a defined career progression framework, offering structured opportunities for professional growth within the Authority.

The agreement also includes an improved pay package, with increases in basic salaries and allowances that reflect the level of responsibility carried out by EPA employees. This improvement aims to further strengthen the Authority’s commitment to providing high-quality, patient-focused service.

Minister Jo Etienne Abela expressed satisfaction with the new collective agreement for the EPA employees. He stated that this is an important step forward for workers in the Authority and said the Government is committed to continuing to offer the best conditions for professionals in the health sector.
