Firefighters Extinguish Rubbish Fire in Ħaż-Żabbar Using 7,000 Litres of Water

Civil Protection Malta firefighters responded to a rubbish fire in Ħaż-Żabbar during the early hours of the morning, successfully bringing the blaze under control.

The incident was reported at around 1:30 a.m., when firefighters from Fire Station 4 were dispatched to the scene. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and cool down the affected area, including the waste material involved in the blaze.

Approximately 7,000 litres of water were used during the operation. No injuries were reported.

Civil Protection Malta thanked the Malta Police Force and the Emergency Department at Mater Dei Hospital for their assistance and support during the incident.
