A fire has reportedly broken out in Qawra, close to the main church.
It is currently unclear why and how the fire broke out, however authorities have been contacted to get the flames under control.
Sandra Smart Costantino, a member of the Qawra local council, urged residents to keep their windows closed to avoid smoke inhalation.
