Fgura United have announced a new initiative that will see €5 donated to charity for every goal scored by their competitive teams throughout the 2025/26 season.

The funds raised will be shared between the Association for Abandoned Animals and Frame Football Malta.

The initiative will apply to goals scored by the club’s senior, U21, U17, and U15 teams, offering a charitable twist to every successful strike on the pitch.

According to the club, this project is expected to help feed 10 abandoned dogs for an entire year and fund the purchase of a new football frame, bringing joy to a child in need.

This charitable campaign was the brainchild of Fgura United’s newly formed Players’ Council, with the club saying it will give players an added incentive to score – not just for victory, but to make a real difference.

In the upcoming season, the Fgura senior team will compete in the BOV Challenge League, while the U21s will play in Section A following a historic promotion. The U17s return to Section A after avoiding relegation, and the U15s will feature in Section B.
