Festa Qargħasel Returns To Mosta This September At Piazza Rotunda!

Festa Qargħasel will return to Pjazza Rotunda, Mosta, on Sunday 13 September 2026, bringing an evening of food, entertainment and activities centred around two of its main themes: honey and pumpkin.

Organised by the Mosta Local Council in collaboration with the Local Government Division and VisitMalta, the event will begin at 17:00 and will feature a range of attractions for visitors of all ages.

Throughout the evening, attendees will be able to explore stands offering a selection of food, drinks and products inspired by honey and pumpkin. The event aims to celebrate these seasonal ingredients through local flavours and creative culinary ideas.

The entertainment programme will include performances by Gaia Gambuzza, Corazon, Karin Duff, and Kurt & the Band, with Andreana Debattista presenting the evening’s activities.

Families attending the event will have access to a dedicated children’s area, along with free face painting activities.

Food enthusiasts will also be able to watch live cooking demonstrations by Gwen from Gwen’s Cooking, who will showcase different ways of using honey and pumpkin in various dishes.

A special collaboration with Sphinx will also see visitors offered a specially created delicacy prepared exclusively for the occasion.

To improve accessibility, a free Park & Ride service will operate throughout the evening between MCAST Mosta and Pjazza Rotunda. The service is intended to make it easier for visitors to attend without having to search for parking in the surrounding area.

With its combination of entertainment, food, family activities and culinary experiences, Festa Qargħasel will once again bring the Mosta community together for an evening celebrating local traditions and seasonal produce.
