Festa Ikel Malti 2025: A Flavour-Filled Celebration of Maltese Food & Culture

Festa Ikel Malti is back, and it’s bigger, tastier, and more Maltese than ever!

The Malta Food Agency has officially announced the 2025 edition of this national food festival, happening Sunday, 12 October 2025, from 10AM to 5PM at Il-Pitkalija, Ta’ Qali. Following last year’s massive success, this year’s Festa promises an even more exciting mix of flavour, tradition, and fun.

Expect the best of Maltese food producers showing off everything from timeless classics to innovative new tastes. Whether you’re craving bragioli, artisanal honey, or modern Maltese fusion dishes, this is the spot to indulge; with options for vegans, vegetarians, coeliacs, and anyone with special dietary needs!

Top Maltese chefs will also take the stage with live cooking demos, highlighting just how creative and versatile local ingredients can be.

But Festa Ikel Malti isn’t just about food; it’s a full cultural experience. Expect live music, traditional dance, performing arts, and loads of activities for kids, including sand art, a fun bus, a children’s train, and more.

Entrance is free, and there’s a park & ride service from the Farmers Market for everyone’s convenience.
