"Festa Ħaddiem" To Return For Second Edition This May

The Parliamentary Secretariat for Public Works, in collaboration with the Public Works Department, has announced the second edition of "Festa Ħaddiem," set to take place on Saturday 2nd May and Sunday 3rd May at the Concert Area in Ta’ Qali.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, the festival aims to celebrate the craftsmanship and contributions of Public Works employees while offering an engaging experience for families.

Visitors will be able to explore traditional Maltese skills such as woodworking, stonework, tile laying and restoration, alongside interactive areas for children featuring creative activities and traditional games.

The event will also highlight innovation, with virtual reality experiences and exhibitions focusing on infrastructure and sustainability. Free of charge, the programme includes live entertainment, youth activities, and a variety of food and drink options.

Officials encouraged the public to attend, describing the event as a unique opportunity to combine learning, culture and family-friendly entertainment.
