Feast Enthusiasts Call Out Cash Drop On Festa Statue In Balluta

Facebook page ‘Festi Maltin - Maltese Feasts’ has called out a recent cash drop video which saw a man scaling a statue in Balluta for money.
The cash was left attached to a part of the statue, and attracted some followers to locate the statue to get the money.
One person can be seen climbing on the statue as they looked for the cash.
‘The hunger for money in Malta = extensive damage to art and culture’, wrote the page. ‘Massive disrespect to volunteers, quality tourism and the Maltese people.’
