Shortly after becoming a father, Brandon Bonavia, who was living what he described as a perfect life, suddenly collapsed.

Regaining consciousness, he found he could not move, with the medical team telling him that he was likely paralysed. That was two and a half years ago.

‘Since then, I’ve undergone countless procedures and rehabilitation sessions, and I am still living in a rehab hospital, confined to a wheelchair.’

Brandon, along with his wife, discovered that stem cell treatment could give him the chance to regain independence and improve quality of life.

The treatment is very expensive however, and he has thus opened a fundraiser, which has so far gathered over €7,590.

‘This stem cell treatment represents a vital step toward restoring a sense of normality to our lives. We now have a two-year-old child, and as a father, I deeply wish to experience the everyday joys of parenthood—moments that many take for granted, but that I have missed due to my injury.’

Brandon’s story is set to be recounted on today’s episode of Popolin on TVM. You can donate to help Brandon at https://gogetfunding.com/help-for-medical-treatment-6/
