Father & Son Gregory & Logan Passed Away Instantly, Says Autopsy

According to TVM News, autopsies have confirmed that Gregory O’Brien, 43 years old, and his five year old son, Logan, died instantly during the Ġnejna accident.

The father and son tragically passed away when the dinghy they were on was capsized when another boat crashed into theirs in Ġnejna.

Investigations show that the father and son had disembarked another vessel anchored in the outer remits of the bay and boarded the dinghy which was later involved in the accident.

Civil Protection Department officials discovered the bodies of the father and son after a coordinated search effort in collaboration with the Armed Forces of Malta.

Magistrate Joe Mifsud is leading the inquiry and investigations are still ongoing.
