Fangtooth Moray Eel Photographed In Local Waters

The Fang-tooth moray eel was first spotted in Maltese waters back in 2015, despite being typically native of the Eastern Atlantic Ocean.
However, marine biologist Alan Deidun said, the species made its way to local waters ten years ago, leading to such stunning shots of the eel in our watery neighbourhood.
This golden specimen was photographed by diver and citizen scientist Eva Bast.
