Family Of Late Organ Donor Joe Sammut Issue Call To Meet Recipients

The family of the late Joe Sammut issued a call to meet any or all of the transplant recipients that received an organ from their late father to listen to their story.

‘On the 5th of June, 2026, our dad Joe Sammut left us suddenly. Even though his life was taken from us too early, his body was still strong enough to donate his organs. Thus, on the 6th of June, there were five transplants’, the family wrote on social media.

‘We are writing this message publicly to give our consent to anyone who received one of our dad’s organs to contact us if they so wish. This search has no other particular interest other than us wanting to help the process this difficult situation of his passing.’

‘Our dad is alive in someone else. Someone else is alive because of him. If you or anyone received an organ on the 6th of June 2026, please contact us.’

‘We just want to meet with you. We want to listen to your story. To know that part of our dad is still here.’
