Family Activities At San Klement Family Park For ‘Together We Shine 2026’

The second edition of the “Together We Shine” festival will take place on Sunday, 25 October, at San Klement Family Park in Żabbar, bringing together families, voluntary organisations and community groups for a day of activities and entertainment.
The event will run between 12pm and 7:30pm and is being organised by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector within the Ministry for Inclusion and Voluntary Organisations, with support from Project Green, which provided the use of the park.
During the festival, visitors will have the chance to meet different voluntary organisations and learn more about their work, services and contribution to the community. A range of activities will also be available for children, young people and families, including creative workshops, crafts, nature-related activities, obstacle courses and science experiments.
The programme will also feature performances and presentations from community groups involved in music, art and sport.
Minister for Inclusion and Voluntary Organisations Julia Farrugia said the event reflects the importance of creating spaces where people feel welcomed, valued and able to participate in community life. She highlighted the role of voluntary organisations in building connections and offering support to those who need it.
Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector Chief Executive Officer Mauro Pace Parascandolo said the festival gives organisations another opportunity to showcase their work and encourage more people to take part in volunteering.
Entry to the event is free, with more information available through the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector website.
