Fake Malta Post Messages Asking For Payment To Continue Package Shipments

A warning was issued by The Malta Police Force and Malta Post due to scam messages impersonating the latter and asking for online payments.
The messages are asking customers for a ‘fee of EUR 1,20’ to continue shipping one’s package, with a link attached to the message.
‘Delete these messages and contact us directly on 2122 4421 or freephone 80072244 when in doubt’, Malta Post explained.
The police also urged people to share the message around to warn friends and family so as to avoid further scam victims.
