“F'Malta m'hemmx post għal min jaħseb li jista' jagħmel li jrid” - Glenn bedingfield

A tourist caught on CCTV vandalising a parked car in Swieqi has been arrested and will be arraigned in court, Home Affairs Minister Glenn Bedingfield has announced.
Earlier, Swieqi Deputy Mayor Jordan Galea Pace shared footage showing the shirtless tourist randomly punching a parked car and breaking off its side mirror.
Reacting to the incident, Galea Pace called for Malta to attract better-quality tourism.
"We need better marketing to change Malta's image. A country that attracts quality tourism instead of sending a message that you can come here and do whatever you want. Enough is enough."
Confirming the arrest, Bedingfield said: "There is no place in Malta for anyone who thinks they can do whatever they want and escape the consequences. He will be brought to court to answer for his actions. Thanks to the Police and everyone who helped."
