Explore Your Future with Heritage Malta’s Careers Fair This Weekend

This weekend, Heritage Malta is opening its doors to the public for the Careers Fair 2025, offering a unique opportunity to explore the many professional paths that safeguard and shape Malta’s cultural heritage. The event will take place at the agency’s Head Office in Bighi, Kalkara, on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November, from 09:00 to 17:00.

The two-day event will bring together experts from across Heritage Malta’s departments including curators, archaeologists, conservators, scientists, architects, craftsmen, and digitisation specialists.

Visitors can enjoy a full programme of presentations and live demonstrations, providing a unique insight into the agency’s daily operations and long-term vision, while highlighting the wide range of career opportunities available within Heritage Malta.

Speakers will cover a variety of fascinating topics, from the investigation of archaeological sites using archival photography, to the conservation of historic textiles and garments. Scientific research, technological innovations in heritage preservation, and emerging fields such as accessibility and inclusivity in the cultural sector will also be explored.

Attendees can also discover volunteering opportunities, gaining hands-on experience while supporting Heritage Malta’s mission.
