Eve Borg Bonello Celebrates Her Official Graduation

Nationalist MP Eve Borg Bonello is officially celebrating having graduated from the University of Malta, issuing a heartfelt post of dedication to her mother, father and her friends whom she said were crucial in her completing her journey.

“To my mother, who sat in Hall 22 for 6 hours to watch me compete in my first moot court, my father for passing on his ‘grinta’ and encouraging me in every possible way, and my friends, who explained to me what on earth a literature review is.”

‘This is what I wrote as my thesis dedication, and it doesn’t even come close to expressing the gratitude I feel’, she continued.

‘Balancing parliamentary duties, campaigning, and exams wasn’t easy. I’m only graduating because I had these people around me. Side quest complete’, she wrote, finishing off with a quote from Rainer Maria Rilke.

In April 2022, Borg Bonello became the youngest member ever elected to the Maltese House of Representatives.
