€90 Return Fares Announced By KM Malta Airlines For Election Travel

KM Malta Airlines has announced a series of special measures ahead of the general election scheduled for 30 May 2026, including discounted fares and additional flights to assist eligible voters travelling to Malta.

Bookings for the special election fares will be available between 4 May and 30 May 2026 and must be made through a dedicated call centre.

Travel is permitted between 20 May and 3 June, with inbound flights to Malta operating up to election day and return journeys extending shortly after.

The offer is open to individuals listed on the electoral register, as published by the Electoral Commission, as well as their direct dependants. Eligible passengers can benefit from a return fare of €90 in Economy Plus, which includes checked and cabin baggage.

Infants under the age of two may travel at a reduced cost provided they do not occupy a separate seat.

Travel is restricted to scheduled flights operated by the airline, with tickets issued as non-refundable and not subject to date changes.

In addition, extra flights will be operated on selected dates to and from London Gatwick and Brussels to accommodate increased demand.

Passengers who have already booked travel during the eligible period may request a refund or amend their booking without a change fee, subject to fare differences, through the dedicated call centre.
